When, in the Course of God’s Providence, it becomes necessary for His People to cast off the unrighteous Political Shackles which have been foisted upon them, and to install again, among the Powers of the Earth, Governments that are reflective of the Kingship of Christ, thus taking to themselves, for God’s Glory, the separate and equal Station which the Law of God requires of them, a decent respect to the Curiosities of Mankind requires that they should declare the Causes which impel them to pursue Reform.
We hold these Truths to be self-evident to a right-minded and God-fearing people, that all Men are created equal, but only as before God’s Law, that they are endowed by their Creator — the God of the Bible — with certain unalienable Duties, that among these are the Protection of Life, the Securing of Liberty and the Protection of Property. — That to secure these Duties, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed as they submit to God’s Law, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Duty of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such Principles and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to reflect God’s Character, and thus to effect the Glory of Their Liege Lord Jesus and their consequent Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established, should not be changed for light and transient Causes; and accordingly all Experience hath shewn, that Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while Evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the Forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their present Liberty and future Security. Such has been the patient Sufferance of present Americans; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their current Systems of Government, that they once again reflect Governance: that is, submit to King Jesus and secure Liberty. The History of the present oppressive Government is a History of repeated Injuries and Usurpations, all having in direct Object the Establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States and the People therein. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.
This Federal Government has refused its Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
It has first permitted and then promoted Ethnocide in its policy on Abortion (Roe v. Wade, Planned Parenthood v. Casey), resulting in the governmentally-sanctioned Deaths of forty million of its weakest and most defenseless Citizens.
It has, consistent with this Object of Ethnocide, overturned legal Referendums seeking to halt illegal Immigration, resulting in the Exhaustion of the Social Safety Net and the imminent Destruction of the American Culture, with its uniquely Christian Influence.
It has, in this Refusal to protect our Borders, failed in its Responsibility to protect the Citizenry from Enemies abroad.
It has upheld as legal the vilest of Behavior (Lawrence v. Texas) and thus called Evil Good.
It has made legally right what is morally wrong, in its Sanction of land Seizure and Theft (Kelo v. City of New London).
It has embraced Polytheism as the de facto State Religion (Van Orden v. Perry, McCreary County v. ACLU), constituting an Affirmation of Idolatry and an Assault upon Christianity.
It has, through its confiscatory Policy of Taxation and onerous regulatory Power, burdened the American Public with economic Hardship and monetary Deprivations.
It has, by its Adoption of particular Curricula for the educational Facilities under its Administration, sought to procure and establish a godless People.
It has, in Violation of the Ninth and Tenth Amendments, violated its Jurisdiction by seizing for itself the Sovereignty which belongs to the other appropriate and varied Jurisdictions of Self, Family, and Church.
It has erected a Multitude of new Offices, thus creating Swarms of Officers to harass our People and eat out their Substance.
It has, to justify our Oppression, pursued the Subjection of the People to international Law: which Law has no basis in American Jurisprudence, exalting a Jurisdiction foreign to our Constitution and unacknowledged by our Laws.
It has, against American Interest, overseen the Exportation of our manufacturing Base, spurning Fair Trade for Free Trade and impoverishing America.
It has upheld Policy to deprive the superior Candidates of Opportunity in Education and Career, in the Pursuit of balanced skin pigment and Ethnicity.
It has pursued a foreign Policy of Imperialism which guarantees the Enmity of the World.
It has multiplied Laws, transforming Enforcement into tyrannical Caprice, and effectively placing all Citizens in Violation of the Law’s Minutiae.
It has, by its Usurpations, fundamentally altered the Forms of our Governments.
It has passed onerous and unconstitutional healthcare Legislation with the Intent to control the Population.
In every Stage of these Oppressions we have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated Injury. A Prince, whose Character is thus marked by every Act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the Ruler of a free People.
Nor have we been wanting in Attentions to our Ruling Brethren. We have warned them, from Time to Time, of Attempts by their legal Machinations to extend an unwarrantable Jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the Circumstances of our Christian History and our traditional Rule of Law. We have appealed to their native Justice and Magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the Ties of our common Kindred to disavow these Usurpations, which would inevitably interrupt our Connections and Correspondence. They not only have been deaf to the Voice of Justice and of a shared Culture, but have responded to our Pleas by doubling their Tyranny and trebling their Oppression. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the Necessity, which denounces our Resistance, and hold them, as we hold the Rest of Mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.
We, therefore, the Representatives of these united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the God of the Bible as the Supreme Judge of the World for the Rectitude of our Intentions, do, in the Name, and by the Authority of Jesus Christ, solemnly Publish and Declare, That these united States are, and of Right ought to be, Free from godless Tyranny; that they again should have Government which promotes Liberty, and is accountable to the only Rule wherein Liberty can be secured. Because of the Violations of the Federal Government, we announce that the current Usurpative Reign has forfeited the Obligation of its Citizenry to be Responsible to Any of its Rulings. We announce to the World our Intention, once again, to be governed by the Rule of God’s Law, as expressed in the Constitution, and will no longer be Slaves to the Law of Men. And for the Support of this Declaration, with a firm Reliance on the Protection of King Jesus, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.
