The Left has been winning. There can be no doubt about it. We see the evidence all around us. Leftists control the government in spite of (and increasingly because of) Republican control of both houses of Congress and the White House, as well as the media, academia, sports and entertainment, and major corporations. Anti-white double standards abound and the vast majority of Christians have made their peace with this agenda. Search engines like (((Google))) actively suppress right-wing content. Ethnically foreign federal judges prohibit constitutional liberties from being used as a defense, as in the Bundy case. Netflix hits a new low for promoting degeneracy, and Black Lives Matter-inspired riots are burning American cities to the ground. The Trump Administration has failed to stem the tide. Legitimately right-wing voices like Steve Bannon and Sebastian Gorka have been purged from the Trump Administration due to external pressure as well as internal dissension in which the (((Kushners))) have emerged triumphant.
There isn’t much hope for improvement on the immediate horizon from a right-wing perspective, but this should not be cause for despair. The Left is winning, but they will not win. Liberalism is rooted in hatred for God and nature as He created it. The Left’s belief and appropriation of egalitarian rhetoric is rooted in a lie. We are not all equal. We never were, and we never will be. This is a fact that becomes more and more undeniable with the passage of time, and the Left has become more violent as it is confronted by these uncomfortable and inconvenient realities. The Left can pretend that men are women, that women are men, or that gender can be severed from biological sex. The Left can pretend that race is a mere social construct that is irrelevant to civilization. The Left can pretend that nations can plummet themselves into incomprehensible debt without any thought that these debts will have to be paid back. The Left can tax and spend into oblivion, and yet reality won’t change. The policies of the Left will eventually fail because God is not mocked and will only tolerate rebellion for so long. There is every reason to believe that the policies of the Left will eventually bring about social and economic collapse on an epic scale unparalleled in history.
Differences in Generational Experience
Liberalism has been able to progress steadily for several decades because most people have been able to avoid the direct consequences of liberal policies. Our parents and grandparents can be difficult to red pill due to their own life experiences. The aging generation of the Second World War was raised on an increasingly liberal diet of the social gospel that was peddled by mainline Protestant denominations. Conflicts with National Socialist Germany and Soviet Communism shaped how many of this generation understood race relations. The Left argued successfully that American policies that had governed race relations throughout her history were akin to, or at least that they inevitably lead to, what the Nazis had done to the Jews during the war. During the Cold War left-wing propaganda continued to press this narrative. If American freedom was truly superior to Soviet tyranny, then laws restricting integration had to go. This argument was incredibly effective at tearing down pre-WWII conventions for race relations. It is no coincidence that the so-called Civil Rights Movement corresponded with the Cold War.
The “greatest generation” was undeterred by integration’s frequent failures to bring about peaceful race relations. White flight resulted in the emergence of suburbia in postwar America that served as the context in which many baby boomers were raised. The reason for leaving the cities was seldom explained in racial terms. Instead families were said to be seeking safer neighborhoods and better schools, but many assured themselves that this had nothing to do with racial demographics. Baby boomers continued the liberalizing trends of their parents. They were taught to laud the “heroes” of the Civil Rights Movement like Martin Luther King, who was enshrined above America’s traditional pantheon of heroes by receiving his own federal holiday in the 1980s. Baby boomers, generally speaking, avoided unpleasant encounters with non-whites during their formative years. They managed to grow up in white enclaves unaffected by inner city violence.
Those who have come of age after the baby boomer generation have had different experiences. Massive non-white immigration has brought about a dramatic demographic change in suburbia and even more rural areas of America. Affirmative action has progressively given non-whites an upper hand in admission to college and hiring for jobs that are becoming increasingly scarce. The optimism of previous generations has been steadily eroded by the collapsing economy and policies that give preferential treatment to non-whites. This is not to say that all Gen Xers, Gen Yers, Millennials, etc. have awoken to the reality of white displacement; far from it. Many among my contemporaries have embraced degeneracy to a degree that their parents and grandparents could have never have anticipated. But many of the younger generations who haven’t been swallowed up in despair have also had their eyes opened to realities that their parents and grandparents have forgotten.
The Information War
One of the major differences among the generations is the way that they receive and process information. The generation of WWII read newspapers and listened to the radio. Baby boomers typically are informed by cable television news, which essentially means CNN, MSNBC, or Fox News. Younger generations typically are consumers of Stephen Colbert and (((Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz)))…I mean Jon Stewart. The Left is largely able to control people’s perceptions through the media and entertainment industries.1 However, there is also an emerging trend that challenges the hegemony of the mainstream media. News outlets like Breitbart have been branded “fake news” by the Left, but more and more younger conservatives are forsaking mainstream media outlets in search of more accurate alternatives on the internet.
It’s worth considering the example of the impact that Johannes Gutenberg’s printing press had on the success of the Protestant Reformation. Five hundred years ago Martin Luther nailed his famous 95 theses to the door of Wittenberg Cathedral, and these were able to be mass produced as a result of printing technology that was not available to earlier generations of reformers like John Wycliffe or Jan Hus. The spread of Luther’s ideas helped his message to reach scores of people who never would have had the opportunity in the past. The Left has attempted to suppress right-wing content online, but the decentralization of the internet makes this nearly impossible. Just as Roman authorities failed to suppress Protestant ideas by banning Protestant books, the Left will fail to suppress right-wing ideas through censorship and intimidation. The real strength of the Right is truth itself. Right-wing ideas are true, and we will see their ascendancy as their truth becomes more and more undeniable in the wake of the impending collapse of liberal postmodern society.
Previous generations were able to flee from the results of liberalism. Ordinary people have had to comply with liberalism even when they don’t agree with it because the Left currently maintains control over the world’s most important institutions and can control the lives of most people to a large degree. Whites are instantly fired from their jobs for the most frivolous reasons, and cannot find employment without corporate-mandated sensitivity training. But Leftist hegemony can last only until enough white people have been personally affected by its consequences. Liberalism has been and is today coolly tolerated by the majority of real Americans only insofar as they are able to maintain gainful employment, live in reasonably safe communities, and avoid crime. This is becoming increasingly difficult for younger generations, and this will result in a direct confrontation that has been brewing for decades. As older generations die out and lose influence in politics, younger generations will radicalize on the Left and Right. The left-wing narrative is collapsing and will ultimately collapse.
None of this is to say that victory will come easily or quickly. Things will likely continue to progress in the wrong direction for the foreseeable future. When we finally reach the breaking point, the result won’t be that everyone will instantly wake up to reality and return to the morals and values that typified Western Civilization prior to the French Revolution. Victory will come only with a long, drawn-out, hard-fought battle, but victory will come. We have the opportunity to spread the truth and prepare for what lies ahead. God is on our side. We win in the end.
