Unless you’ve been living out on an Amish backacre over the past couple weeks you know of the so called “Women’s March” staged in protest of the inauguration of Donald Trump. Depending upon how closely you followed the coverage, you may also know of the sub-protests therein such as women donning American flags as hijabs and pink knitted “pussyhats.”
A true carnival of the bizarre.
These SJW women (and at least one gelding) dressing up as Moslems must have no conception of what Islam actually teaches, because under Sharia all their feminism and tolerance-mongering results in a choice of death by stoning or immolation. Or a short life consigned to sex-slavery. And the use of American flags for that purpose? And on women covered in makeup? Aside from these being crimes in themselves in Islamic thought, it comes across as nothing but mockery! Apparently, they forgot their recent kvetching crusades against cultural appropriation and Halloween costumes. I mean, what happened to last week’s slogan, “We’re a culture, not a costume, and this is not okay”?
As for the ‘pussyhat’ thing, it surpasses irony that the same women screaming about objectification should in turn focus their event around such graphic concepts and visual references to their genitalia. When it comes to the vicissitudes of PC language – is it Afro-American this week, or Shadow Person? I can’t keep up – and the smorgasbord of imaginary gender pronouns, the SJWs put on the most genteel airs but are entirely tone-deaf with respect to obscenity. It really seems that Leftists, even while leaning on their fainting couches, are incapable of taking up any cause without framing the matter in utmost vulgarity.
The event was capped with orations like something out of a Black Mass; like the witches’ trinity manifest, Madonna, Scarlett Johansson, and Ashley Judd sermonized on their sacraments of menstruation, infanticide, and general obscenity.
Now we know why Dante’s Inferno wound up the first chapter in his Divine Comedy. Because evil is absurd, laughable in its self-contradiction. Thus proving too that very Augustinian conception of evil — that by its very darkness, it testifies to the light of God. In spite of all Victorian pretensions, when hell belches forth such repugnance, evil testifies against itself, and in so doing bows an unwilling knee to Christ’s absolute Lordship.
And we laugh the devil to scorn.
