It feels like the calm before the storm. Everything is not right with the world, but Sauron’s eye is looking elsewhere than at the Alt Right. Like Frodo and Samwise, pro-white activists can make bolder moves at the moment knowing that the hateful attention of the Left and Washington, D.C., is on North Korea, Iran, the Trump-Bannon feud, and other mindless distractions. But the calm will come to an end.
Trump may strike a deal over North Korea, or he may launch a war against it. In the former case the white American majority will have averted a demographic disaster. In the latter, it will visit us for many, many years. Unless China once again crossed the Yalu River in support of its Communist allies, war with North Korea would end in a U.S.-South Korea victory. But even if China stood by and let the North Korean ship of state sink, the majority-white American military would endure terrible losses. The North Korean military is a much better fighting force than Iraq’s was in 2003 or the Taliban’s was in 2001. A North Korean government that thinks nothing of persecuting and starving its own people would have nothing to lose by using biological, chemical, or nuclear weapons on American troops. The body count in a second Korean War would be far greater than the body count was in Afghanistan or Iraq. In addition, the cost of such a war would further deplete the American treasury, eroding what modicum of financial stability exists in the United States for the average worker, family, and elderly citizen. If China did enter the war, the stakes and the costs could be exponentially greater. I won’t consider that here because that potentiality has more to do with trade war, world war, and nuclear war than the kind of limited wars we’ve become accustomed to in the past 70 years.
The revolt in Iran championed by neoconservatives may or may not come to something, but even if it does it is doubtless another chapter in the Arab Spring narrative that began in the early years of this decade. Like the other so-called democratic Islamic uprisings, it will bear no good fruit for the American people. God willing, Americans and their money will stay out of it.
The Trump-Bannon feud may or may not be real. Regardless, it is a meaningless distraction. Though Trump’s candidacy was a vehicle for advancing implicitly pro-white policies, and Bannon had somewhat supported nationalist movements in Europe, neither have meaningfully advanced the pro-white movement. There is still time for Trump to do so, but it seems like we have this conversation every month, with increasing degrees of skepticism. As for Bannon, he has unequivocally denounced our movement, and may soon lack the means by which to be helpful to it even if converted to our cause. In other words: who cares? This is D.C. gossip cooked up to make money off of Leftist consumers. I’d throw the whole Russia collusion thing in that category as well. It seems to be the left-wing version of the many Obama conspiracy theories that were floated during his administration, each and all of which were supposed to lead to its downfall. That, of course, never happened. But it kept millions of American conservatives titillated and coming back to their media troughs every day for more.
The stock market keeps climbing to higher heights though our national debt, trade deficit, and money supply also keeps climbing. The American economy and currency are ticking time bombs. However, they have long been such, and as of yet have not suddenly exploded. Those with their hands on the levers of power have kept the machine running and limited the bomb’s destructive potential to recessions. Cryptocurrency is another huge source of potential financial disruption which some call a bubble or fraud, and which others call the future of finance around the world. Whether cryptocurrencies and tokens become the future or suddenly crash, the world is going to change because of them. What happens with the dollar, the markets, and bitcoin is not a distraction. They will have real impacts on everyday white people like you and me, and thus will powerfully affect the fortunes of the pro-white movement.
Politically there are many issues which could lead to a Democratic takeover in the Congress this November, or else a Democratic regaining of some congressional seats, governor’s mansions, and state legislatures. Because the Left thinks it has a good chance of winning this November, the amount of attention devoted to these elections will be huge. Most of them won’t affect the Alt Right, with the exception of Paul Nehlen’s. His candidacy is worth our attention, money, and labor.
In the new year, at this time of massive global anxiety and potentially catastrophic disruptions, the pro-white movement has an opportunity to take proactive actions. We will of course react to the larger forces at work around us, some of which have been mentioned above. However, the fundamental issues of the right of any people group — including that of white people — to exist and to ensure that their posterity has a meaningful, independent, safe, free existence, is what we need to focus on. While the world is busy watching other things, we should be building our case in favor of our right to exist, and building our resources to realize this goal.
Last year was in many ways a step forward for us. Are we closer to realizing an ethnostate? Yes. The idea that white people might actually have a distinct, positive identity, and might actually need political and cultural institutions that protect and promote their interests, increased in the public consciousness thanks to Charlottesville. For better or worse, many people now think that racially conscious white activism is not just something for the history books. They may mainly fear it (out of ignorance or conscious anti-white hate), but at least they know now that the tunnel through which we white people are passing has a light at its end.
This year should be a year in which we give them reasons to cherish this idea instead of to fear it. Small-scale actions of public charity, plus literature and relationships that build their love for their own people, would be appropriate. Establishing our own institutions for worship, welfare, education, and fitness would be appropriate. Taking positions of authority and responsibility in the larger community — as Paul Nehlen is attempting — would be appropriate.
Right now seems like a time to sow. The time to harvest is still ahead. Let’s use this time of relative quiet before the next storm bursts upon us.
