Countries should be based on shared ethnicity, as this is how God designed man to function. Political boundaries should grow naturally out of tribal boundaries. However, this concept is anathema to the Marxist view of an egalitarian mankind where each human is interchangeable with any other. They hold that ethnicity and race are completely irrelevant to political borders, or, even worse, that “diversity” of ethnicities and races in the same political unity is a positive good to be actively pursued. This madness has progressed to the point where the globalists are quite willing to kill people to force them to live in artificial countries rather than allowing these countries to be broken up into more organically based ethnic nations.
Multiethnic/multiracial empires, due to their very nature of forcing different peoples with different cultures, different preferences, different proclivities, and different views to function within the same unit, are unworkable without either a strong internal or external power holding them together through the threat of force. But human nature cannot be ignored forever, and these empires always eventually fail and fall apart; and when they do, it is almost always along ethnic/religious/cultural/linguistic lines. When there is little territorial mixing amongst the different groups, this is usually fairly peaceful, as in the case of the artificial country of Czechoslovakia. However, when there is a lot of mixing, these breakups can get very bloody, as in the case of Yugoslavia. In the 1990s, the artificial country of Yugoslavia broke up into a half dozen smaller countries. The amount of fighting and bloodshed in each of the new countries was almost directly proportional to how mixed it was. Slovenia, which was 97% Slovene, experienced a very peaceful secession with almost no bloodshed, while on the other end of the spectrum, Bosnia, whose population was divided three ways by Serbs, Croats, and Bosniaks, erupted into a bloody three-year civil war.
Because of their commitment to Marxism, the EU and U.S. were ideologically incapable of taking the course of action which would have ensured long-term peace and stability in the area: dividing the territory up amongst the three groups and coordinating a population exchange like the one in 1923 between Greece and Turkey, which ended hundreds of years of massacres and counter-massacres between the Turks and Greeks. Instead, they, through NATO, took the route of bombing the combatants until they agreed to share the same political unit. Thus, now, three groups of people who hate each other, do not want to work together, and have wildly differing goals, are forced to share the same government. This has produced a situation in which the central government is almost completely ineffective, most of the real power lies in the local and regional ethnically-based governments, and the EU has to maintain constant control and oversight to ensure that the never-ending political battles do not turn into an actual war again.
There is currently a crisis brewing in Bosnia which is being called the worst one since the civil war. The leader of the Serbs in Bosnia, who account for over a third of the population, is calling for a referendum on the legitimacy of the war crimes court set up by the EU to punish the Serbs for their ethnonationalist views. The Croat minority is already boycotting the federal government over being excluded from the Bosniak-run central government, calling for the division of Bosnia, and the Serbs are supporting these demands. Should the Serb referendum pass, this would further destabilize the situation and bring the Serbs a step closer to attempting to secede again.
Ethnonationalists are often accused of being haters for desiring territorial exclusivity for different ethnicities and races. The Marxists claim that it is loving to promote racial diversity within countries. But turning America from the European nation it was intended to be into a multiracial empire is merely ensuring its eventual breakup; and as with Yugoslavia, the more and more racially diversified and integrated it becomes, the more and more bloody this breakup will be. The ethnonationalist’s position minimizes bloodshed, the Marxist’s position maximizes bloodshed – so who are the real haters?
