As it turns out, my recounting of events was essentially spot-on, except for unexpected pleasantries like pictures of Trayvon posing with a gun and marijuana plants,1 the prosecution suppressing evidence,2 an illiterate, borderline mentally retarded star witness,3 and other such things which have occurred since my post and make the case against George Zimmerman look even more petty, vindictive, and politically motivated. I make no claim to unique abilities or special knowledge: all a correct analysis requires is a realistic understanding of the alternatingly evil and incompetent nature of the leadership and string-pullers of the country and the fact that the mainstream media is lying 80% – 90% of the time.
But even with the murder trial over, I doubt this saga will end here. There is already talk of bringing Zimmerman up on federal charges,4 and the Sharpton and Jackson types are still playing the evil Whitey angle for all it’s worth. To paraphrase a tweet that’s going around: a half-Peruvian, half-Jew shoots a black teenager and is acquitted by an all-female jury, but it’s still the white man’s fault. Go figure.
I think the most disturbing part of this whole affair is the implication by many in the pro-Trayvon camp that, since there was a death, someone has to be held accountable. This is akin to the idiotic philosophy currently held in many schools that any child caught fighting gets punished regardless of how the fight started or who is responsible. The position taken – not merely that Zimmerman didn’t act in self-defense, but that even if he did, he should still be punished – is simply downright scary.
And by the way, now that the trial is over and Zimmerman is vindicated, I’m expecting a full apology and repentance by John Piper for his lies and slander in this article. Yeah, I’m not holding my breath on that either.
