Recently, the term genius has come under fire for its historical, etymological, and practical associations with masculinity and maleness. Wherefore the usual suspects in academia have deemed it “sexist” both in terminology and concept. And it is the case that while women have a slightly higher uniform IQ than males whose intelligence gathers at further extremities, high and low, genius clusters to men. And on that basis, the concept of genius is a newly discovered secular sin.
Of course, the sane remnant will all roll their eyes, have a good laugh at the lunatic antics of the Left, and determine to troll liberals with the term genius for as long as it provides amusement.
In spite of its madness, we all know these sorts of deranged academic pronouncements are ratified through media and pop culture in such a way, and to such degree, that the churches now typically succumb to every new secular revelation inside a handful of years. And the window between these secular epiphanies and their embrace in the ecclesiastic realm is constantly narrowing.
But embarking on this path, it is apparent that this word genius is pregnant with much more potential for the Left. One Dr. Delap has noted as much:
We’re rewriting our first two years of our History degree to create a wider set of paper choices, to make assessment criteria clearer, and to really try and root out the unhelpful and very vague talk of ‘genius’, of ‘brilliance’, of ‘flair’ which carries assumptions of gender inequality and also of class and ethnicity.
So the clerisy are telling us they are saving a little something for a rainy day. Once they have inured the public to the idea that genius is “sexist,” and a cannonade in the “war on women,” they are readied to deploy the next leg of the issue with force: genius will be condemned as racist.
Crazy, right? Well, the thing is, if you grant the Marxian concept of ‘racism’ as real and meaningful, it turns out the Leftist wackos are right. According to the etymology, genius is “originally ‘generative power’ (or ‘inborn nature’), from PIE *gen(e)-yo-, from root *gene- ‘give birth, beget,’ with derivatives referring to procreation and familial and tribal groups.”
Testimonial to the eugenics assumed in the 1400s and 1500s, a genius is literally “one expressing good genealogy, or good genes.” A genius is one well-born of the clan, a natural aristocrat of his race. And be it in the realms of theology, philosophy, chemistry, engineering, art, or just about anything else, the history of genius is merely a relay of White history. If the lens of anti-racism is granted, genius must be repudiated.

Where Murray and Herrnstein’s Bell Curve has long been contraband on campus on account of its acknowledgement of the correspondence between IQ and race, the enemies of distinction are striking now at a deeper root of the same issue. As occurred in the old Soviet Union, the inequality of intellect, by its privilege, and the association with class and breeding, sets the stage for Vonnegurt’s 2081 dystopia where
everybody was finally equal. They weren’t only equal before God and the law. They were equal every which way. Nobody was smarter than anybody else. . . .
Hazel had a perfectly average intelligence, which meant she couldn’t think about anything except in short bursts. And George, while his intelligence was way above normal, had a little mental handicap radio in his ear. He was required by law to wear it at all times. It was tuned to a government transmitter. Every twenty seconds or so, the transmitter would send out some sharp noise to keep people like George from taking unfair advantage of their brains.
Turns out, that Orwellian vision comes to pass by the ‘handicap radio’ of academia, media, pop-culture, and even the pulpit; more’s the pity.
If the thought of terrorism aimed at genius seems far-fetched, realize that Whites, Christians, and White Christians are already subject to said terrorism every day. That’s what the rape pandemic in Sweden is about. That’s what the bombings, stabbings, and truck attacks in France and England are about. It’s what Black Lives Matter is all about. It’s what La Raza is all about. It’s what both Democrat and Republican parties are all about. And as demonstrated by the PCA’s Overture 43 last year and the SBC’s 2017 Resolution 666, it’s what our subverted denominational governments are all about too.
In fact, distinctions like valedictorian are already being voided in schools because honors are ‘triggering’ to ne’er-do-well SJWs. But as White SJWs’ outrage at inequality is always predicated upon racial disparities, anyone with eyes to see knows where this is heading: once this association of genius with its history and etymology are highlighted, it will remove even the option of any colorblind meritocracy for Whites. Because all non-Whites will see in it is White Supremacy. White people will not be allowed to excel under any circumstances. To allow such will be regarded tantamount to Black and Brown genocide. Thus regarding White achievement as violence, the Left will respond with violence.
Heavy-handed a move as it will be, you know our enemies — this nickel is gonna burn a hole in their pockets till it’s spent. They think it’s an ace up their sleeve. They will play it.
But when they do, it will bring all those “economic conservatives,” libertarians, and free-market Republicans to a profound crossroads as their colorblind meritocracy is condemned directly for White Supremacy.
In this the Left will once again tip their hand too far and polarize a goodly number of Misesian types into the camp of race realism.
This predictable consequence, alongside their confusion about how to protect their talented tenth and Jewish elite, is delaying them presently; but as stated, we know them. They simply cannot help themselves. When rings that Pavlovian bell, they salivate. They will declare genius ‘racism’ and White Supremacy. At which point the bootstrap meritocracy folks who make up the Alt Lite, civic nationalists, and GOP normies will be compelled our way.
Providence has already laid her snares against God’s enemies, and they shall fall headlong into their own traps.
