White Genocide in South Africa: A Holistic Analysis

Previously, I reported on the excellent work of Afrikaans singer Sunette Bridges in raising awareness regarding the genocide of the Afrikaner in South Africa. Recently she wrote an overview of the brutal attacks on white people in South Africa for the four-and-a-half-month period from December 1, 2012, to April 18, 2013. In this article she also notes that there was only one incident of white-on-black violence from January 2012-January 2013 in South Africa, which the mainstream media obviously didn’t hesitate to denounce as a “racist attack” in their reports. The blatant inconsistency in reporting on white-on-black and black-on-white crime is evident for all to see…or is it?

Scripture teaches us that unregenerate men are by nature deceivers and liars (Rom. 3:4; II Pet. 3:5). Over the past few months, the reality of this scriptural truth has evidently manifested itself in the words and actions of those servants of the devil who go out of their way to deny the genocide of white people in South Africa and throughout all of the West.

Despite the excellent work in documenting South African white genocide by Dr. Gregory Stanton, the Research Professor in Genocide Studies and Prevention at George Mason University,¹ the deniers of the ongoing genocide are plentiful, including such public figures as the rector of the local university in my hometown and one of the most influential Afrikaner journalists, among others. All claims that a genocide of the Afrikaner is taking place are dismissed as false right-wing propaganda. The purpose of this piece is to show how destructive the slander from the left can be and to oppose their false claims for truth’s sake and for the survival of our people. Despite looking for better, even remotely solid arguments from the genocide “sceptics,” I couldn’t find any, but simply because so many Afrikaners (and many other Westerners as well) fall for their deceptions, I’m forced to refute these mediocre objections. Believe it or not, the three main objections against the reality of white genocide are 1) that whites aren’t targeted by criminals out of racial hatred, 2) that nonwhites suffer just as much under the lawlessness in a crime-ridden South Africa as whites do, and 3) that whites are also murdered by other whites.

The first two of these claims are both blatantly false. If it weren’t obvious enough from the “Kill the Boer” song, there are numerous examples of black-on-white crime in South Africa where race itself was a motive, and even though the government purposefully withholds information regarding the homicide rate of different racial groups, other sources note that deliberate homicide rates of whites in South Africa over the first couple of months this year have been more than double that of nonwhites.² Furthermore, it is significant to note that in less than 7% of black-on-white farm attacks, property was reported as stolen, while black-on-black murders in South Africa are reportedly motivated by theft in 73% of the cases, and domestic violence in another 24%. Another noteworthy fact is that 96% of all black-on-white murders are accompanied by extreme humiliation and torture, often committed in the presence of loved ones. This definition perfectly matches “genocide” in the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide:

Article II: In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:

(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group. 

Hence a vast series of racially motivated murders, even if occurring organically and in the absence of some grandly orchestrated plan (of which all murderers are a conscious part) to wipe out all whites without exception in South Africa, would certainly constitute genocide.

For the sake of argument, let’s assume that the first two objections by the left are indeed true. Even if one were to grant the truthfulness of all these claims, they would still be irrelevant as objections against the existence of a white genocide in South Africa.

1) Even if all the murderers in South Africa were indeed “colorblind,” not at all motivated by racial hatred, it still wouldn’t change the truth that whites are being massacred on a widespread scale by blacks in Marxist South Africa, itself a cause for panic and horror. The Boer people are in danger of perishing whether the cause is intentionally racial murder or not. White people are instinctively alarmed in hearing of the unintentional and non-malicious destruction of a species of whale or a remote, primitive human tribe; should not the malicious obliteration of the Afrikaner genos alarm them as well?

2) Even if blacks might be massacring their own people at a similar or even higher rate, it is false to assume that whites necessarily are not suffering genocide. Given the Boers’ minority status in South Africa, this fallacy is particularly awful. We are a small and decreasing population; to be sceptical of our genocide, merely because blacks murder each other too, would be madness.

3) Even if a second party is involved in the massacre of a particular group of people, it does not leave the first without guilt – and it most certainly doesn’t change the fact that over 30,000 whites have been slaughtered by blacks in South Africa since the fall of apartheid back in 1990,³ which certainly outnumbers the white-on-white murder rate by a wide margin. The brutality of these black murders and violent assaults on whites, white farmers in particular, also points to the fact that these go beyond “normal” crimes – undoubtedly having a motive of intimidation accompanying it.

Nevertheless, despite these non sequiturs, what is particularly noteworthy is the absence of an objection from this list: no one would counter claims of white genocide by arguing that blacks are also killed by whites. Beyond an extremely small sample, there simply are no statistics to back up such an objection.

The only way in which white-on-white murders might approach the breadth of black-on-white murders is if white abortions are included. The ANC government has, by virtue of enacting the world’s most liberal abortion law under Nelson Mandela in 1997, given its stamp of approval to the genocide of white (and black) children in South Africa. It also further encouraged genocide, indirectly, by legalizing sodomitic marriage in November 2006. Abortion and sodomy laws have a genocidal effect on all races in South Africa, yet the whites’ own participation in genocidal suicide via abortion, homosexuality, and miscegenation in no way denies that genocide is occurring under black-ruled and majority-black South Africa. These laws alone would be sufficient proof of the approval of white genocide by the South African government, but on top of this, its leaders have also for many years publicly continued to encourage the killing of white land owners in song and dance.

Clearly answering the objections to the occurrence of white genocide in South Africa isn’t difficult by any means, but it is extremely necessary in our contemporary context since the majority of white South Africans, the very victims of the genocide, would deny that it is even taking place. They have been completely brainwashed with leftist propaganda and are unable to think for themselves. In fact, the official political opposition to the African National Congress in South Africa is the Democratic Alliance, a party which, although less vocally, also supports the disenfranchisement and genocide of white Afrikaners, and probably more vocally supports the destruction of the last remnants of Christianity. This party gets over 85% of the Afrikaner vote at election time. When over 80% of Afrikaners describe themselves as Christians yet at the same time vote for the advancement of the kingdom of Satan in virtually every sphere, it really does unfortunately render the epithet “Christian” meaningless. I’ve grown accustomed to end every article about my people with a call to repentance, but there really isn’t any other viable solution to our seemingly insoluble problem (II Chron. 7:14).
