Following the passage of Arizona’s SB 1070 bill, similar legislation cracking down on the demographic invasion of America was introduced in dozens of other states. Republicans have managed to quietly kill these bills in eleven states (Oklahoma, Tennessee, Florida, Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming), while Democrats have proudly killed them in eleven more (New Mexico, Colorado, California, Arkansas, Kentucky, Virginia, New Hampshire, Washington, Oregon, Iowa, and Mississippi).1 Only two states have managed to pass Arizona-style legislation so far, Georgia and Alabama, with South Carolina likely to become number three soon.2 Here is some info on the legislation in Georgia:3
In addition to an Arizona-style immigration law and a strong mandatory E-Verify system, Georgia’s HB 87 would also:
• Empower local and state police to arrest illegal immigrants and transport them to state and federal jails;
• Punish people who use fake identification to get a job in Georgia with up to 15 years in prison and up to $250,000 in fines;
• Penalize people who – while committing another crime — knowingly transport or harbor illegal immigrants or encourages them to come to Georgia. First-time offenders would face imprisonment for up to 12 months and up to $1,000 in fines;
• Establish a seven-member Immigration Enforcement Review Board to investigate complaints about local and state government officials not enforcing state immigration-related laws.
The bill passed in April and gives Georgia employers six months to comply. However, just as we saw in Arizona, Georgia’s illegal immigrants are already fleeing the state.4 This has caused issues for Georgia’s agricultural industry, which is a major employer of illegal immigrants. A recent report indicates that there are 11,080 jobs which Georgia’s farmers need filled.5 Mestizos, who are already upset that this bill sets back their demographic conquest, have seized upon this apparent labor shortage to aid their attacks. Jerry Gonzalez, executive director of the Georgia Association of Latino Elected Officials, stated, “This bill will kill jobs and ruin Georgia’s economy.”6 In other words, “you need us, we’re important, we’re vital, and you can’t run this state without us.” But of course, we have run America for hundreds of years without help from Mestizos, and we certainly do not need them now. In fact, we were better off without them.
Georgia’s governor has come up with a neat and innovative solution. Georgia currently has 100,000 ex-cons living in the state, of which one fourth are currently unemployed.7 Governor Deal issued a statement “calling on the state’s commissioners of labor, corrections, and agriculture to work together to connect unemployed probationers with a state agriculture industry now desperate for workers.”8 These farms have proven that they’re perfectly fine with hiring criminals, so replacing current criminals with past criminals should not be a problem and is actually very helpful. Illegal immigrants are a huge drag on the economy, and these unemployed ex-cons are presumably collecting unemployment benefits and other welfare. This statement by Governor Deal moves to solve both problems by causing illegal aliens to leave the state and helping these ex-cons to become gainfully employed. It will certainly save the state a lot of money. Congrats to Georgia for helping to lead the way in the struggle against the Mestizo invasion.
