Our global economy is so deformed that the sons and daughters of the richest civilization in world history are working themselves to the bone on behalf of corporations that think of them as a mere resource. A resource they plan on replacing with cheaper resources, whether human or robotic.
The fact that working conditions in Amazon’s huge “fulfillment centers” are debilitating and tread the thin line between legality and illegality should be an eye-opener for the white majority that thinks big business is always good business.
Take for example the account by an undercover reporter that restrooms in his London Amazon fulfillment center took five minutes to walk to (1/3 of a mile away) and were often out of order — forcing workers to spend even more of their few minutes off to simply relieve themselves.
The smiling faces on Amazon boxes are certainly not human faces. Whether working in a mine in the 1800s, picking fruit as a migrant worker in the 1930s (as did many whites for generations), laying down asphalt in the hot summer sun in the 1950s, or toiling at a fast-food restaurant or “fulfillment center” for ten hours at a time today, human beings simply don’t respond to such conditions with smiles. Bringing smiles to customers is great. Bringing smiles to shareholders is great. And yes, managers and executives deserve their just deserts for a job well done.
However, as the Southern Presbyterian theologian Rev. Robert L. Dabney once wrote, even black slaves in the antebellum South enjoyed the fruits of their labors side by side with their masters and overseers. These workers were not kept in abject poverty while those who funded and supervised their agricultural enterprises made 300 times more than they did. In addition, those black slaves were given a livelihood during their old age, medical care during their entire lives, and a degree of cultural and ethnic autonomy that corporate heads today would scoff at. Far from forcing the blacks to deny their ethnic heritage, the white South preserved it by forbidding intermarriage between the races, and honoring their cultural institutions, as it is still today.
Slave masters who denied their workers adequate clothing, food, shelter, medicine, and — for Pete’s sake, restrooms — were ostracized and penalized by their contemporaries, who held Christian standards of humanity and justice in a way that modern egalitarians have persistently failed to recognize.
As the Right has argued for decades, the equality that the Left has been pushing since the days of Karl Marx is more and more apparently the equality of poverty manifested in the depressed, exhausted, expendable faces of Amazon workers. Spending much of a day’s wages just to commute to and from work, and then facing landlords who charge 75 percent of your monthly wages just for rent, is not an acceptable situation. It is not a Christian situation, nor one in which whites (or anybody) can prosper. One century later, the progressives who rose to power excoriating the sweatshops of the 1920s are reinstituting them with their own digital, billionaire hands.
As Carole Cadwalladr wrote in 2013 after working in another Amazon fulfillment center,
Because Amazon is the future of shopping; being an Amazon “associate” in an Amazon “fulfilment centre” – take that for doublespeak, Mr Orwell – is the future of work; and Amazon’s payment of minimal tax in any jurisdiction is the future of global business. A future in which multinational corporations wield more power than governments…
…in places of high unemployment and low economic opportunities, places where Amazon deliberately sites its distribution centres – it received £8.8m in grants from the Welsh government for bringing the warehouse here – despair leaks around the edges.
Their path to global domination on the backs of workers and patriots around the world is paved with “good” intentions. They hire and lobby for more non-white human workers to replace the white workers. They have begun the process of automating humans out of the workplace through robotic replacements. They will push for more technologies to make man as he has been for thousands of years, obsolete at best, and virulent at worst. They have and will erase every vestige and boundary line defining what it means to be human. Meanwhile, Jeff Bezos and his ilk will smile condescendingly down on the destitute hoi polloi who must beg and scrape at these billionaires’ every anti-white, anti-natural, anti-male, anti-Christian whim.
Remember that the next time that our societal overlords pronounce their displeasure at your God, your ethnic heritage, your history, your heroes, your flags, your nation, your loved ones, and you yourself.
